David Johnson: A Brief History of Settle.

In March 2024, archaeologist and author Dr David Johnson, president of IAG, gave us an insight into the long history of Settle through a series of themes including: connections, commerce, education, faith, people and buildings.

Dr Johnson had researched the history of Settle over many years and copies of his book: 'Settle: A Historic Market Town' will be available at the meeting (£5).
