Field names and landscape history: 21 September

Professor Angus Winchester will give an illustrated talk, "Field names and landscape history" at Ingleborough Community Centre, Ingleton, at 7.30pm on Monday 21 September 2026.

An expert in the local and landscape history of the Dales, he is Emeritus Professor at Lancaster University and the author of many books including ‘Dry Stone Walls: History and Heritage,’ which focuses on the Yorkshire Dales.
